Dr. Yuri Ivanovich Nikolenko is a distinguished Doctor of Medical Sciences, affiliated with the Kharkov Medical Institute’s Department of Hospital Therapy.
Educational Background and Early Career:
Dr. Nikolenko graduated from a specialized physics and mathematics school and earned his medical degree from Kharkov Medical Institute in 1984. He began his medical career as a therapist at Kharkov Regional Hospital and later at the 26th Hospital, both associated with the Department of Hospital Therapy at KMI. Concurrently, he pursued advanced studies at the Department of Physiotherapy and Balneology at the Kharkov Institute for Advanced Medical Training, contributing significant research in the field of biophysics.
Professional Journey:
In 1988, Dr. Nikolenko relocated to Cyprus to further his professional endeavors. The following year, in collaboration with his wife, pediatrician Dr. Chrystalla Nikolenko, he established the “Y&C Institute of Medical Rehabilitation Ltd.” in Cyprus.
Academic Achievements:
Dr. Nikolenko completed his doctoral dissertation in 1995, marking a significant milestone in his academic career.

Throughout his career, Dr. Nikolenko has been dedicated to clinical practice and the development of innovative treatment modalities. He has pioneered new therapeutic approaches and treatment protocols for a range of severe conditions, including hepatitis, chronic herpes zoster, tick-borne encephalitis (Lyme disease), scleroderma, encephalitis, and toxicities from both organic and inorganic substances.

Presently, the “Y&C Institute of Medical Rehabilitation Ltd.” has evolved into a state-of-the-art medical facility, now known as “Medinstitute,” continuing to provide advanced medical care under Dr. Nikolenko’s leadership.
